Thousand Island Water Resources (SDA) Sub-department installs gabion at RT 01 RW 01 of Lancang Island, Pari Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands to hold the waves.

We deploy 17 PJLP personnel to install 75 gabions with length 108 meters

Thousand Island SDA Sub-department Head, Ahmad Saiful stated, gabion installation has been started since last month and targeted to finish three days ahead.

"We deploy 17 PJLP personnel to install 75 gabions with length 108 meters," he informed, Tuesday (5/14).

He explained, those gabions are installed in the eastern side and southern side of Lancang Island to hold waves and prevent abrasion on breakwater cubes.
