Homecoming Period, Health Posts Provided in Terminals and Stations

Jakarta Health Department (Dinkes) to provide health posts in terminals and stations during homecoming period.

All health posts will operate for 24 hours from May 29-June 10

Jakarta Dinkes Head, Widyastuti explained, health posts will be provided in 4 main terminals; Kalideres Terminal, Tanjung Priok Terminal, Pulogebang Terminal, Kampung Bandan Terminal and 7 supporting terminals; Muara Angke Terminal, Grogol Terminal, Lebak Bulus Terminal, Rawamangun Terminal, Pinang Ranti Terminal, Blok M Terminal, and Kemayoran Terminal.

Moreover, health posts will be also provided in Kota Station, Senen Station, Gambir Station, Manggarai Station, Tanah Abang Station, and Jatinegara Station.

"All health posts will operate for 24 hours from May 29-June 10. There are one doctor and two nurses for each posts that will work in shift," she informed, Tuesday (5/21).

This health post is focus on doing health screening such as to check blood sugar and blood pressure for homecomers and personnel on duty.

"Those who have serious illness will be referred to the hospital for further medical treatment," she mentioned.

Besides health screening, health posts also provide urine test especially for bus drivers and train operators in terminals and stations.

"We want to make sure bus drivers and train operators are in a great condition for passenger safety. Urine test result will be informed to terminal and station heads," she said.
