Cheap Food Program Opened on Sebira Island Until Sunday

The Jakarta Provincial Government through city-owned market operator PD Pasar Jaya is selling subsidized basic goods for citizens living on Sebira Island, Harapan Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands. It will last until the forthcoming Sunday (5/2).

It's hoped able to lighten people's burden to meet their daily needs

In this program, the city offers various basic cooking materials at low prices such as, 5 kg of rice type FS sold at Rp 58,000, 1 kg of sugar Rp 11,000, flour Rp 6,500 per kg, meat chicken Rp 28,000, 1-1.8 liters of cooking oil Rp 10,000-Rp 19,500, 2 liters of cooking oil Rp 19,500.

"It's hoped able to lighten people's burden to meet their daily needs," expressed Perumda Pasar Jaya Representative, Rahmat. Wednesday (5/29).

In the meantime, Harapan Island Urban Village Head, Adi Apandi thanked the Pasar Jaya for opening cheap food in his region.

Similar statement also comes out from local citizens and a community leader, Ali Kurniawan.
