Jakarta Public Service (JPS) stated that free homecoming program is an actual work of Jakarta Provincial Government to make its citizen happy.
Hopefully it can be one of Jakarta's annual programs
JPS Executive Director, Mohammad Syaiful Jihad said, tradition to visit one's hometown for Eid al Fitr or locally known as mudik (homecoming) becomes a part of countries with Muslim majorities such as Indonesia. Most people who work and stay in Jakarta want to use this chance to meet with their families in hometown.

According to him, Jakarta Provincial Government needs to evaluate this program immediately thus government can improve its service in the coming years.
"Such as by adding more destinations, more vehicles, and better facilities," he added.
He admitted that he joined this free homecoming program and appreciated it.
"I am very happy since it is one of Mr. Governor's actual work to make citizens happier. Hopefully it can be one of Jakarta's annual programs," he expressed.
For information, Free Homecoming Program serves 10 destination cities: Ciamis, Kuningan, Tegal, Pekalongan, Semarang, Kebumen, Solo, Wonogiri, Yogyakarta, and Jombang.
Jakarta Government also ensures motorcycle travelers' safety by transporting their motorcycles to the destinations.
