Commemorating Pancasila Day, Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan led ceremony at Merdeka Square, Monas, Gambir, Central Jakarta, on Saturday (6/1).

In his speech, he wants Jakarta Government apparatuses to realize five principles of Pancasila, especially the fifth principle 'Social Justice to the Whole of the People of Indonesia'.

We must ensure that all five principles of Pancasila are implemented in the capital and Jakarta Provincial Government takes the lead in carrying out it. But, in order to realize Social Justice as mentioned at the fifth principle, we need to do the others, from the first until the fourth principle," he conveyed, Saturday (6/1).
He pointed out that one of Jakarta Government's efforts in realizing Pancasila is by eliminating Land Building Tax (PBB) for grandchildren of National Heroes who had struggle for Independence of Indonesia.
"Hopefully this ceremony can encourage you to practice the values of Pancasila in daily life," he mentioned.
