Jakarta Transportation Agency conducts traffic engineering at Jalan Setiabudi Tengah starting on June 17-September 30 in line with construction of Cawang-Dukuh Atas Light Rail Transit (LRT).

"Its construction starts from next to HOS Cokroaminoto Flyover towards Landmark," disclosed Jakarta Transportation Agency Acting Head, Sigit Widjatmoko, Wednesday (6/12).

On June 17-September 28 2020, a LRT's bore pile as wide as 12 meters will be installed at Jalan Setiabudi Tengah on the south of the reservoir.

Therefore, traffic engineering from the west or Tanah Abang area towards south (Rasuna Said) will be diverted from Jalan Margono Djoyokusumo - Jalan Galunggung - Landmark area - Jalan Jenderal Sudirman - Jalan Setiabudi Raya - Jalan Setiabudi 3 (Setiabudi area) or Jalan Galunggung - Halimun Traffic Light - Jalan Gembira - Jalan HR Rasuna Said - etc.

Then from south (Rasuna Said) towards west (Tanah Abang or Jalan Sudirman) will be diverted to Jalan HR Rasuna Said - Jalan HOS Cokroaminoto - Jalan Sumenep - Jalan Latuharhari - turn right to Halimun Traffic Light of Jalan Galunggung - Jalan Margono Djoyokusumo or Jalan Setiabudi Utara - Jalan Taman Setiabudi 2 - Jalan Setiabudi Raya - Jalan Jenderal Sudirman - etc. 

"Can also pass Jalan Prof Dr Satrio towards Tanah Abang," he expressed.

Especially for March 1 until September 30, 2020, traffic on Jalan Setiabudi Tengah on south of the reservoir could already be passed by each one lane and will return to normal.

"We urge people to find alternative roads and obey the traffic rules in the field," he asserted.
