The Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) today starts to socialize an integrated emergency services number, 112 in Thousand Islands.
This socialization is in the form of a call in an emergency when a disaster occurs
It is done by spreading banners and stickers to the Thousand Islands Regent, Husein Murad on the yard of the sub-district office on Pramuka Island, North Thousand Islands for six urban villages.
City Trials Emergency Number 112"This socialization is in the form of a call in an emergency when a disaster occurs," said Jakarta BPBD Head, Subejo, Friday (6/14).
With the service, people can request for emergency assistance or when a disaster occurs for free.
Thousand Islands Regent, Husein Murad thanked for the collaboration with the Jakarta BPBD, particularly in the early handling of disasters through socialization.
"Hopefully our island has a tsunami early detection tool thus people are more responsive to disasters," he hoped.
