This Month, 15 Underpasses to Be Equipped with Height Restriction Barriers

Jakarta Bina Marga Department to provide height restriction barriers in 15 underpasses in Jakarta this month.

We have installed height restriction barriers in Tanah Abang, Trunojoyo, and Pramuka Underpasses

"We have installed height restriction barriers in Tanah Abang, Trunojoyo, and Pramuka Underpasses. While others are still on progress in DI Panjaitan, Cawang, Angkasa, Senen, Pramuka, Dukuh Atas, Matraman, Manggarai, Gandaria, Mampang, Kartini, and Pondok Indah Underpasses," explained Jakarta Bina Marga Department Head, Hari Nugroho, Monday (6/17).

According to him, allowable height limit for each underpass varies with maximum height of 4.8 meters.

"Height restriction barriers are needed to ensure road users safety and minimize the potential of traffic accident occurrence," he conveyed.

For information, Bina Marga Department also installs reflective sticker on height restriction barriers thus road users can see it while in the dark and from the far distance.
