PAL Jaya Laboratory Receives World Accreditation

The City-owned sewerage company PD PAL Jaya's wastewater testing laboratory, received world accreditation from the National Standardization Agency (BSN).

Its accreditation was directly handed over by BSN Head, Bambang Prasetya towards PD PAL Jaya Subekti President Director, Subekti at the building of Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT), Jalan MH Thamrin No. 8, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (6/25).

With this ISO 17025/2018 certificate, the laboratory i s trustworthier by the community for testing.

"We have it after passing through a long process for 1.5 years," he expressed.

PD PAL Jaya Operation and Maintenance Manager, Adri Pontianti added that his party was preparing requirements from BSN to upgrade certification to ISO 17025/2017.

"One that is adjusted is the clause of impartiality of the laboratory and the organizational structure that must be adjusted to the organizational structure of the company. This is what we will do," he stated.
