City-PD PAL to Revitalize Septic Tanks in 2020

The city-owned sewerage company PD PAL Jaya along with Jakarta Water Resources Agency is set to revitalize a number of septic tanks in the capital in 2020.

About 1,000 places of septic tanks will be revitalized, followed by 15,000 places in 2021 and 20,000 places in 2022

As the initial stage, the PD PAL Jaya has been busy conducting survey to see the places of septic tanks that are prioritized.

Three Public Toilets and Biopal Septic Tank Handed Over to Petamburan Residents

"About 1,000 places of septic tanks will be revitalized, followed by 15,000 places in 2021 and 20,000 places in 2022," stated PD PAL Jaya President Director, Subekti, Wednesday (7/3).

PD PAL Jaya Business Development Manager, Aris Supriyanto explained that each location would spend Rp 10,500,000. 

"We'll build the septic tank first and its system namely reimburse is handed over to Water Resources Agency. One tank has one cubic capacity," he expressed.

Then the material will be made from water-resistant fiber thus black water and gray water can enter the tank.
