Jakarta Bina Marga Agency Head, Hari Nugroho said that two JPOs were finished last year, namely Sumarno and Jelambar. Then this year, bridge revitalization is intensified at eight bridges and build new bridges at five points.

Those six bridges are along Jalan Sudirman. Three of them have already been completed such as Senayan Roundabout, Gelora Bung Karno and Polda Metro Jaya.

Then for three other bridges are still under process, such as Bendungan Hilir, Karet Sudirman and Dukuh Atas.

"They will beautify Jalan Sudirman-Thamrin," he expressed.

The design and material for the three bridges will be different from the previous bridges at Jalan Sudirman.

Even the floor width will be added from the previous width to three to four meters.

"The first series is policarbonate, for Benhil to Dukuh Atas uses Teflon membrane and the shape will be different. So the citizens will be more free to interact," he exclaimed.

Similar action is also carried out at two points. They are Daan Mogot and Pasar Minggu suspension bridges. They are still under process and targeted to be complete in the upcoming October.

In the near future, five new bridges are also planned at five points. They are Kolonel Sugiono, Dr Saharjo, Warung Jati Barat, Rumah Duka Abadi Daan Mogot, skywalk at Velbak Kebayoran Lama.

"They are still under auction stage and targeted to be completed in the upcoming December," he expressed.

Its design will be futuristic, artistic, contemporary, iconic, and interesting to look at.

His party also prioritizes lighting technology by installing RGB lights that can display 90 colors. In addition, the bridge is also equipped with closed circuit television (CCTV), trashcans, and elevators.

They are also eco-friendly, one of which is the floor of processed or recycled wood material.

"It is now just for pedestrians but provides new experiences for users and places to interact," he stressed.
