He added, Laskar Peduli is formed to treat residents with hypertension with members from PKK cadres and Meruya Selatan public figures.
Kembangan Sub-district Head, Agus Ramdani also plans to form group similar to Laskar Peduli to reduce number of people with hypertension in Kembangan.
"Members of Laskar Peduli which are trained by Kembangan Puskesmas' medical team are ready to remind people with hypertension to apply healthy lifestyle and check their condition routinely," he stated.
Kembangan Puskesmas Head, Leni Ariyani stated, Laskar Peduli members and her medical team will monitor residents who have hypertension in Kembangan and remind them to apply healthy lifestyle and routinely consume hypertension medication.
