Anies Invited to Be Speaker at USINDO Luncheon Forum

Anies is invited to be a speaker at United States – Indonesia Society (USINDO) Luncheon Forum, Washington DC, United States, on Monday (7/15)

World Cities Summit and Mayors Forum (WCSMF) 2019 which is held in Medellin, Colombia is ended on Friday (7/12). Quoted from Jakarta PPID press conference, Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan was invited by Mendellin Mayor, Federico Gutiérrez to share his viewpoints in three discussion panel forums in WCSMF.

After attending WCSMF, Anies is invited to be a speaker at United States – Indonesia Society (USINDO) Luncheon Forum, Washington DC, United States, on Monday (7/15). In this event, Anies is invited to explain the latest issues in Jakarta and Indonesia regarding economy, urban problems, social, city infrastructure development, environment, transportation, smart city, digital economy, entrepreneurship, and education.

Anies Acts as Speaker at 10th World Cities Summit Mayors Forum

USINDO is a non-profit bi-national organization led by representatives from United States and Indonesia which is built exclusively to increase United States' understanding about Indonesia and vice versa, and strengthening relation between these two countries.

USINDO believes that bilateral exchange in education sector gives great foundation for Indonesia and United States relationship. USINDO also runs education programs in United States and Indonesia.

For information, Anies has been invited to be speaker in panel forums held by USINDO for several times. Previously, when he continued doctoral study in Illinois, he was once a speaker at a forum that was well known among Indonesian observers in the United States. He also was once the Board of Advisor at USINDO in 2009.
