Jalan Inspeksi Kali Sunter Constrained Due to Land Acquisition

The construction of Jalan Inspeksi Kali Sunter in Kemayoran Sub-District, Central Jakarta, is still constrained with land acquisition. Whereas, local residents have agreed and supported road construction through the Serdang and Sumur Batu Urban Villages.

The building and land which has not been acquired in RW 05 Serdang Urban Village and RW 01, 02 and 04 in Sumur Batu Urban Village.

Sarmijo, (32), a citizen of RW 01 Sumur Batu Urban Village admitted he was willing to be relocated related with construction of inspection roads. "We agreed. Moreover, the urban village and sub-district also have socialized this plan," he stated, Thursday (8/28).

Head of Kemayoran Sub-District, Iyan Sopian Hadi expressed thus far, there are hundreds of people living around the river are agreed with relocation plan. "The problem now is just waiting for the land acquisition by Public Works Department. About 20 buildings have not been demolished," he told.

He added that such inspection road would be built along 20 kilometers and could be bypassed from the Kemayoran Sport Hall (GOR) until Jalan Letjend Suprapto. "If the inspection road is done, traffic congestion on Jalan Letjen Suprapto can be parsed," he uttered.
