The Jakarta Early Awareness Society Forum (FKDM) Chairperson, Rico Sinaga encourages all elements to contribute to success the forthcoming Formula E (E-Prix) in Jakarta next year.

Jakarta as the host is an achievement and pride, not only for Jakartans, but also for the people of Indonesia.

"We must be able to prove that we are ready for the success of this international racing event. Moreover the track lies in ring 1 area," he expressed, Wednesday (7/17). 

The government and citizens need to synergize to equalize perceptions and make joint work in succeeding the event for all the teams involved and satisfy those who come to Jakarta to witness the race.

"This is just not about the image of Jakarta, but also Indonesia in the eyes of the international community," he stressed.

Thereby his ranks will also be optimized in a bid to participate in the success of managing Formula E in accordance with its main tasks and functions.

"Our duty is related to early detection and early prevention of potential security and public order disturbances. Surely we'll coordinate with related units," he told.

He added that the event itself could be optimized as part of the socialization inviting the world community to use green power energy sources. Including in Jakarta, we are very supporting efforts to improve air quality.
