For information, Dishub together with Land Transport Organization (Organda) and PT. Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) wants to build synergy with 5 public transport operators by signing Cooperative Agreement regarding public transport maintenance.
"After signing contract, we want to procure new public transports for the next three or four months," he mentioned.
Through this cooperation, he is targeting bus maintenance can be done as soon as possible and improve medium bus operational service this year.
"We want to reduce number of buses that pollute the air. At least, we can revitalize 460 buses from 5 operators first," he asserted.
Besides, he plans to apply canalization system by providing motorcycle lane as a part of eco driving that can save motorcycle fuel and reduce pollution.
"Canalization system helps to maintain motorcycle at certain speed thus pollution that is mostly produced at high speed can be reduced. Moreover, it can minimize traffic violation on the road," he conveyed.
