South Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-department educates 30 Public Facility Maintenance Agency (PPSU) personnel in Pejaten Timur Urban Village, Pasar Minggu, about early fire handling.

Pasar Minggu Gulkarmat Sector IX Group A Platoon Chief, Ary Santoso stated, this training is focus on handling fire caused by gas stove.

According to him, there are basic technique that can be used to extinguish fire caused by gas stove at early stage by using wet sacks and fire extinguisher.
"We hope PPSU personnel can educate other residents about fire handling and remind them to install standardized gas stove regulator properly," he explained.
