Japanese Students Conduct Comparative Study to Thousand Islands

Nice to visit Indonesia, especially to Thousand Islands as it can add our insi ght and knowledge

Some 15 students of Tokyo Metropolitan Oshima High School, Japan conducts a comparative study related with island residential life on Panggang Island, North Thousand Islands.

Besides visiting Panggang Island Urban Village office, they also visit the sub-district office on Pramuka Island and the Thousand Islands Radio studio (RKS), including other islands in Thousand Islands.

"Nice to visit Indonesia, especially to Thousand Islands as it can add our insight and knowledge," expressed Koyuki (16), a student who can speak Bahasa even though slightly stammering, Wednesday (7/31).

Panggang Island Urban Village Head, Pepen Kuswandi hoped that the visit could introduce the Thousand Islands in Japan. 

"Hopefully it can increase the number of tourist," he hoped.
