This year, Jakarta Energy and Industry (PE) Department sends several coached Small Medium-sized Entrepreneurs (IKM)s to participate in 6 exhibitions abroad.
16 IKMs Facilitated to Promote Their Products in Jakarta Fair Kemayoran
In order to participate in international scale exhibitions, IKMs should be in Grade A, have complete legality documents, good product packaging, patented brand logo, potential to be sold in market in targeted country, and able to receive orders in large quantities.
Those selected IKMs are planned to participate in Festival Indonesia in Moscow, Shanghai, and Seoul; New York Now 2019; and Trade Expo in Turkey and Melbourne.
Jakarta PE Department's Industry Division Head, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo conveyed, her side mostly sends 5 selected IKMs to each events.
"But only 3 IKMs who have passed the curation for New York Now exhibition. Its curator is from New York and facilitated by Consulate General of The Republic of Indonesia in New York," she added, Thursday (8/1).
By sending IKMs to the international-level exhibitions, her side expects IKMs to expand their marketing network to abroad.
"We want their products to be able to compete with others industries abroad," she expressed.
