PT Transjakarta President Director, Agung Wicaksono is going to equip all non-bus rapid transit (BRT) buses with a tap on bus (TOB). The TOB attachment has been ongoing and will be completed by the end of this year.
"TOB is a payment system used by direct tapping on Transjakarta buses. All this time, we still use electronic data capture (EDC) payment system, yet slowly we'll leave it," he stated, Wednesday (8/7).

"It will facilitate Transjakarta customers to get all electronic cards for payment transactions on the bus," he expressed.
There are routes that have been using TOB system, namely Tanah Abang - Gondangdia Station (1H), Tanah Abang - Blok M (1N), Tanah Abang - Senen Station (1R), Pinang Ranti - Pulogadung (4F) and Kampung Melayu -Tanah Abang (5F).
"This is a process of transformation from cash as a means of payment towards cashless," he stated.
