Commission D Appreciates Mud Dredging Work at Pluit ReservoirJakarta Water Resources Agency's Operation and Flow System Maintenance Division Head, Firmansyah Saputra said that some reservoir areas are still full of mud with varying heights.
"Its dredging is done up to 80 hectares which aims to accommodate water in large quantities," he expressed, Tuesday (8/13).
To conduct it, as many as 18 excavators and 40 officers have been sent to deepen reservoir between one to two meters from the LWL (Low Water Fussy).
It is hoped able to minimize inundation in Pluit, Ancol, Kota, Pasar Baru and Monas areas when it rains.
"It is targeted to be finished by the end of November," he stated.
