Jatipadang RSUD Director, Rimasari explained, mammography is an X-ray of the breast that can detect tumor or abnormality in breast tissue which is mostly an early symptom of breast cancer.

According to her, this service helps her side to give early treatment for women who are detected to have breast cancers.
One of Pasar Minggu Urban Village residents, Ani Sundari is grateful to get this service for free.
"Luckily, my house is located not far from this hospital. So I can get this service for free," she expressed.
Ningsih, Pejaten Timur resident, suggests Jati Padang RSUD to hold similar service using door-to-door method in settlements periodically.
"As I know as PKK cadre, Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) service is commonly done, while first mammography service is done in Pasar Minggu Sub-district. Thus I hope more residents can get this service in the future," she conveyed.
For information, Jati Padang RSUD also provides free screening service to detect tuberculosis (TB), HIV, psychiatric test, and VIA for 50 people.
