East Jakarta Targets PKB BBNKB by Rp 2.8 Trillion

The East Jakarta vehicle taxes (PKB) and vehicle ownership transfer fees (BBNKB) management unit targets to hit tax revenue this year amounting to Rp 2,889,100,000,000. From that amount, until now, its realization has touched Rp 1,862,990,020,718 or 63.09 percent.

East Jakarta PKB BBNKB Management Unit Head, Iwan Syaefuddin said, this year's tax target by Rp 2.8 trillion consists of Rp 1.7 trillion for PKB and Rp 1.1 trillion for BBNKB.

"Tax realization reaches Rp 1.862 trillion or 63.09 percent and we are optimistic that the target can be achieved by the end of this year," he expressed, Thursday (8/15).

East Jakarta PKB an BBNKB Management Unit Sub-Division Head, HA Hendro P added that one of efforts to hit the target is by sending appeal and notification letters to taxpayer.

According to the data, the number of tax arrears is reaching 2,233 vehicles with an arrears amounting to Rp 120 billion.

"We have sent them bills by involving urban village and sub-district heads. Their performance will be monitored directly by the mayor," he stressed.

Responding on it, East Jakarta Vice Mayor, Uus Kuswanto has sent bills to sub-district and then continued to urban village.

"We urge the tax arrears to soon pay off tax," he said.
