Dono Rides Bicycle to See Independence Day Ceremony on Pantai Maju

I have committed to see the ceremony

Dono (39), a man who live in Karawaci, Tangerang intended to see the Indonesia's 74th Independence Day ceremony in Maju Penjaringan, North Jakarta. He rode his bicycle wearing a red shirt complete with cycling attributes such as helmets and black cycling pants and travels as long as 29 kilometers from his house to the ceremony venue.

"I have committed to see the ceremony, so I leave from my house in Karawaci at 6 AM. It takes around 2 hours to arrive by bicycle," he said, Saturday (8/17).

It is his first time riding bicycle to Pantai Maju. He is usually cycling around Tangerang City on the weekend.

"It is also my first time seeing Pantai Maju," he added.

Another resident who also came the ceremony venue was Yono (47), resident of Kapuk Muara, Penjaringan. According to him, he is recently moved to North Jakarta and curious with ceremony held by Jakarta Provincial Government on Pantai Maju. Thus he came together with his wife and children.

"I came because I'm curious about Pantai Maju. I also invite my family to go for recreation in here," he mentioned.

Based on Beritajakarta.id observation, there were not only city officials attending the location for ceremony, but also other residents who took selfies and enjoyed the location.
