Caglak River's Levee Needs Quick Fix

Citizens living in RT 03/RW 10 Cibubur Urban Village, Ciracas, East Jakarta, are requesting related units to immediately repair a levee of Caglak River which has repeatedly collapsed due to flood. This is because, the river water overflowed and cause flooding in residential areas during rainy season.

Mamat, (40), a citizen of RT 03/RW 10 expressed since April-July 2014, the levee was collapsed three times. Ironically, its damage is getting worse due to never repaired.

Vice Head of Ciracas Sub-District, Dicky Suherlan admitted that his side has received report from locals regarding such matter. "We have reported the case to the Water Management Public Works Sub-Department. Hopefully, the levee could be repaired soon," he expressed.
