East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-department trained 40 residents of RW 08 Lubang Buaya Urban Village, Cipayung, to handle fire. Those residents are from PKK cadres, Jumantik cadres, Dasawisma, LMK, and RT/RW administrators.

"Through this fire training, we want to reduce number of fire occurrence in East Jakarta," stated Muchtar Zakaria, East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-department Acting Head (Plt), Wednesday (8/21).

He expects this training can help participants to know the proper way to extinguish fire.

"We train them to extinguish fire using wet towel and fire extinguisher," he explained.
