The construction plan of six inner-city toll roads in the capital will enter a new phase. In the near future, the contract agreement will be signed. The construction itself is scheduled in 2015 and targeted to be realized in 2017.
Jakarta Vice Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama disclosed the six inner-city toll roads should be done in three years. If it exceeds the deadline, the city administration would take over the project. "We will prepare a contract. If the project is not completed within three years, we took over it," he asserted, at City Hall, Tuesday (9/2).

City Secretary, Saefullah justified the contract will be signed soon. "We'll sign the contract in the near future with developer," he told.
The city administration has allocated Rp 3 trillion for land acquisition and Rp 42 trillion for construction process from PT Jakarta Tollroad Development.
PT Jakarta Tollroad Development was also instructed to build six inner-city toll roads simultaneously. The reason is if the construction was using installment system, traffic congestion would be difficult to be parsed. "It must be built simultaneously. If not, all will be canceled," he said.
As known, construction of six inner-city toll road initiated by former Jakarta Governor, Fauzi Bowo since 2007 was initially prioritized for two lanes of Semanan-Sunter and Sunter-Bekasi.
While for the second phase would be built on Duri Pulo toll road- Kampung Melayu and Kemayoran - Kampung Melayu with a total investment of Rp 12.91 trillion. Then third phase is Tanah Abang-Ulujami as well as Pasar Minggu-Casablanca with total investment Rp 5.71 trillion.
