Cheerful Face of Kebon Bawang Jumantik Cadres in Ancol Free Recreation

Cheerful face and joyful applause seen from a middle-aged woman named, Eis Sulastri (64) while watching the sight of a feeding show to the humbolt penguins at Penguin Kingdom, Ocean Dream Ocean (ODS), Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, North Jakarta.

Her arrival with her kids and dozens of Jumantik cadres in her village complemented the joy residents of RT 07/12 Kebon Bawang, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.

This retired civil servant's wife daily life has been devoted to taking care of the family. She has been active in the PKK since 1985, and played important roles after the inauguratuion of the Jumantik cadre.

"Besides penguins, we also see dolphins. I hope it can be an annual activity," she hoped.

North Jakarta Vice Mayor, Ali Maulana Hakim disclosed that free recreation was an appreciation of Jakarta Provincial Government towards Jumantik cadres and RT/RW caretakers in North Jakarta.

They were given chance to choose one of four fantasy world recreation rides to visit, such as Ocean Dream Ocean, Atlantis Water Adventures Ancol and Sea World.

"As the initial stage, we chose 1,069 people from Kebon Bawang Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Sub-district," he expressed.

To the location, they allowed to bring a maximum of four family members recorded on the family card.

PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk President Director, Teuku Sahir Syahali uttered that this free recreation was dedicated to 170,000 people.

It is done in stages, only on Monday in the first and third week in each month. Each group has 5,000 participants.

The first schedule dated on August 26, there are 5,000 people participated from Gambir, Cideng, Petojo Selatan, Kebon Kelapa, Kebon Bawang, Kembangan Utara, Kembangan Selatan, Meruya Utara, Gandaria Utara, Pulo, Pondok Kopi, Ceger and Untung Jawa Island areas.

"We are proud to share happiness with the chairpersons of RT, RW in Jakarta, and also support the government program," he closed.
