Jakarta Muharram Festival, Route Engineering Applied for Corridor 1 Transjakarta Bus

PT. Transjakarta will apply route engineering especially for Corridor 1 Blok M-Kota route in order to anticipate huge number of visitors who will attend at Jakarta Muharram Festival.

Route Engineering will be applied from 2 PM to 12 PM

For route engineering, PT. Transjakarta Operational Director, Prasetia Budi conveyed, bus from Blok M will be directed to JCC before entering Semanggi and go straight to Tomang, then turn right to Harmoni-Kota.

"Jakarta Muharram Festival will be held along Jalan Thamrin-Sudirman. Thus we will apply route engineering to facilitate people who want to visit this event," he mentioned.

Corridor 1 Blok M-Kota route will be shortened up to Dukuh Atas and bus will return to Blok M via Pejompongan and turn around at the Landmark then pass through Jalan Jenderal Sudirman.

"It means Corridor 1 buses from Blok M will not reach Bank Indonesia and Tosari," he added.

Meanwhile, buses with route from Kota to Blok M will also be directed to go via Harmoni to Tomang, then turn left into Semanggi and lead to Blok M.

Besides Corridor 1, other Transjakarta buses operate normally. Passengers who want to go to Pulo Gadung and its surrounding can take Transjakarta bus from Monas Shelter, that leads to City Hall, Arjuna Wiwaha Chariot Statue, and so on.

"Route Engineering will be applied from 2 PM to 12 PM," he informed.
