West Jakarta to Clean Kota Tua Routinely

West Jakarta Environment (LH) Sub-department conducts routine cleaning at Kota Tua, Taman Sari. This time, it is targeting to clean up Jalan Pintu Besar Utara, Kemukus, Lada, Kunir, Kali Besar Barat River near Museum Bank Mandiri, and other spots.

It is done to maintain cleanliness in Kota Tua

West Jakarta LH Sub-department Head, Edi Mulyanto deployed 25 personnel and 3 road sweeper units in this cleaning.

"It is done to maintain cleanliness in Kota Tua. Thus visitors can feel comfortable while traveling in Kota Tua," he said, Monday (9/2).

Merchants Involved in Discussion Regarding Kota Tua Arrangement Plan

From cleaning that is done on September 1-2, his side has collected 9 cubic meter of garbage.

"We hope local residents can participate in maintaining this area clean by not littering," he conveyed.

In the other hand, Taman Sari Sub-district Secretary, Pangestu Aji Swandhanu appreciates West Jakarta LH Sub-department's effort to support Kota Tua arrangement program.

"Kota Tua is arranged as the mainstay of tourism sector. Thus we need to maintain its cleanliness," he added.
