Here is Odd-Even Traffic Policy Arrangement on Jalan Salemba Raya

Jakarta Transportation Department (Dishub) applies Odd-Even Traffic Policy on Jalan Salemba Raya with special arrangement.

We are not applying Odd-Even Traffic Policy from Jalan Diponegoro Intersection that leads to Matraman

"It means Odd-Even policy is not applied in some parts of Jalan Salemba Raya. It is from Diponegoro Intersection which is in front of Carolus Hospital until Matraman Intersection. But it is still applied on the west side from Matraman Intersection until Senen," explained Syafrin Liputo, Jakarta Dishub Head, Saturday (9/7).

According to his analysis towards traffic flow on Jalan Diponegoro and Jalan Salemba Raya, he decided to apply Odd-Even Traffic Policy from west (Jalan Diponegoro) to east (Jalan Salemba Raya) to minimize potential of traffic jam.

"We are not applying Odd-Even Traffic Policy from Jalan Diponegoro Intersection that leads to Matraman. Thus traffic circulation can be optimal," he mentioned.

For information, Odd-Even Traffic Policy is applied on Monday-Friday at 6-10 AM and 4-9 PM. It doesn't applied on Saturday, Sunday, and national holiday.
