Muara Angke Ecomarine Development Continued

Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Department continues to develop Muara Angke Ecomarine area to be mangrove forest.

We have planted mangrove in 1,500 square meter land

For information, Muara Angke Ecomarine is as wide as 6,000 square meters. KPKP Department plans to make this area as habitat for mangrove.

"We have planted mangrove in 1,500 square meter land. It remains 4,500 square meters left. Mangrove will be planted on ridges surface," stated Darjamuni, Head of KPKP Department, Tuesday (9/10).

This year, his side also installs jogging track with total length of 155 meters, repairs 6 ridges surfaces and creates two new ridges as a medium to plant seeds of 8,000 mangroves.

"We want to develop this place thus it could be the lungs of Muara Angke and its surrounding," he stated.
