South Jakarta Mayor Starts Work with Cycling

I want to convey the Governor's message that we have to care about the environment

South Jakarta Mayor Marullah Matali and his 30 staffs started working with cycling to conduct regional monitoring from their office and continued to Jalan Prapanca Raya, Jalan Brawijaya Raya, Jalan Radio Dalam Raya until the Gandaria Utara Urban Village Office as the first stop.

After that, they continued to the Nusa Indah Farmer Group Urban Farming location, RW 011, Kebayoran Lama Selatan, Kebayoran Baru as the last stop.

Kalideres Bus Terminal Has Bike Lane

Matali disclosed that this cycling activity aimed to encourage residents to care more about the surrounding environment.

"I want to convey the Governor's message that we have to care about the environment. Surely the bike is an environmentally friendly transportation choice for us," he said, Tuesday (9/17).

Moreover cycling has now become a lifestyle.

"No need to buy an expensive bike and do not be ashamed to use your bike. Look, I ride my ordinary bike today," he said.
