Electric Taxi Exhibited at Jakarta E-Prix 2020

Blue Bird Taxi company exhibited 10 units of its electric taxi during Jakarta E-Prix 2020 at Parkir Timur Senayan, Central Jakarta.

Operation Manager Bluebird Pool Warung Buncit, Ken Aditia, admitted his side has launched 29 units of electric car since May 2019. 25 units of them are BYD E6 series for regular class, and the rests are Tesla X 75 D for silver bird class.

According to him, the car must be charged fully within 2.5 hours before operated. Then it will be able to travel around 300-400 kilometers.

"Our station in Warung Buncit prepares the charging booth. The capacity is 80 kwh," he added.

Compared to conventional car, he continued, electric car is more economical. The maintenance is cheap.

"The electric car operational is focused for terminal 3 of Soekarno Hatta airport," he closed.
