25 Personnel of TPB Karthula Moves to Muaro Jambi

As many as 25 personnel of Jakarta Integrated Task Force on Forest and Land Fire Disaster Management (TPB Karthula) have been assigned to move to Puding Village, Muaro Jambi Regent.

They will then join in providing fire fighting assistance along with the joint command post in the field of SDN 62 Puding Village.

At the location, Muaro Jambi Regent Masnah Busro really appreciated the arrival of the city personnel to help put out fires in Kumpo Ulu, Kumpo Ilir and Sungai Gelam sub-districts.

"Thank you for coming to help the people in Muaro Jambi. This is our common duty for humanity, may the disaster quickly pass," he expressed, Monday (9/23).

Regarding the latest hotspot conditions, the flames are not yet fully extinguished after he deployed the personnel of Jambi Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) as initial handling.

"We hope that all personnel remain enthusiastic as the terrain is quite difficult," he stressed.

Jakarta TPB Karthula Taskforce Team Commander Kusnanto expressed his personnel were still waiting for command from the Jambi BPBD and the local Military Rayon Commander before taking action.

"We would like to thank you very much for the warm welcome from the regents, urban village head, sub-district heads and local people here," he said.
