North Jakarta to Map Potentials for Supporting PMI Bulan Dana Fundraising

North Jakarta Administration will optimize all potentials from regional work unit (UKPD) and civil apparatuses to collect fund for Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Bulan Dana fundraising.

Anyone who has the greatest potential to support fundraising should be inventoried well

North Jakarta Mayor, Sigit Wijatmoko stated, all potential elements that can support PMI Bulan Dana activities should be mapped well through coordination from all sides.

"Anyone who has the greatest potential to support fundraising should be inventoried well thus PMI Bulan Dana fundraising program can be done optimally," he stated, Monday (9/30).

For an example, he continued, Manpower and Transmigration Sub-department should be able to map companies that have potentials by coordinating with its owners or board directors to support this program. Then, he also asked Education sub-department to cooperate with teachers and student's parents.

"PTSP also gets in touch with many people. We hope all can be managed well thus its result can be optimal," he conveyed.

According to him, the greater the funds collected, the optimal service PMI can give to the people, especially North Jakartans. Thus his side expects administrators of sub-districts, urban villages, civil apparatuses, companies, and residents for support this program fully.

North Jakarta PMI Head, Sabri Saiman ensured to use all collected funds from Bulan Dana fundraising for humanitarian activities and disaster response related activities.

"It will be used for natural disaster preparedness activities, humanitarian assistance,PMR cadres training, voluntary corps (KSR), PMI organizational cooperation from city level, provincial and central," he stated.
