Council Supports People’s Cinemas in Traditional Markets

The Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD), responded positively and supported the existence of Indiskop People's Cinemas at Teluk Gong Market, especially in traditional markets. It is expected to be able to play films with educational nuances.

Jakarta DPRD Vice Chairman Abdurrahman Suhaimi disclosed the film screening has become a means of providing entertainment to Jakarta people. But, of course, there needs to be an element of education that is able to arouse the spirit of nationalism.

"In the future, we even expect those who get social assistance can watch movies for free, namely KJP Plus, KJMU, Jakarta Elderly Card and Worker Card," he stated, Monday (10/7).
