As many as 300 pumps type stationer and mobile have been alerted in the capital in a bid to anticipate inundation and flooding during rainy season.

Jakarta Water Resources Agency Head Juani Yusuf said, based on the BPBD's data, there are 30 inundation-prone areas in Jakarta.

"We will do the best pump maintenance for optimal performance," he expressed, at Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday (10/9).

They also have optimized the dredging of reservoirs, rivers and canals. "We will ensure water channels are not blocked, including those located in the development project area," he stressed.

Even, as many as 8,000 blue personnel have been alerted in the field.

"They are spread out in each region, they work every day to make sure the channel is functioning well," he stated.
