Council Expects OPDs to Optimize City Budget Absorption

Jakarta Councilor (DPRD), Gembong Warsono wants all Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD)s in Jakarta Government to increase absorption on City Budget (APBD) 2019 in the remaining time.

OPD should focus with program and budget allocation

According to him, budget absorption can be an important indicator to know each OPD's performance.

"OPD should focus with program and budget allocation that have been agreed between executive and legislative," he mentioned, Wednesday (10/9).

Banggar-TAPD Agreed to 2019 City Budget Amendment

He hopes that entering the fourth quarter of 2019, all OPDs can optimize their budget absorption by realizing all of their work plans.

"I am sure that if they have plan it well, its budget absorption is surely optimized," he asserted.

Meanwhile, other Jakarta Councilor, Stephanie Octavia assessed, APBD that is used directly for residents, such as related to health and education sectors should be absorbed optimally.

"APBD is resident's money thus we want it to be used optimally," she expressed.

Based on information quoted from publik.bapedadki.net, Jakarta APBD absorption reached 54.32 percent on Wednesday (10/9) at 20:07.

Meanwhile, DPA allocation for direct and non-direct expenditure are Rp 77.86 trillion and Rp 42.49 trillion has been used.
