Kebon Sirih Puskesmas Cultivates Fig Trees

We'll optimally use this puskesmas' limited land to make it greener and gives benefits

The Kebon Sirih Urban Village Puskesmas in Central Jakarta is conducting reforestation by developing fig trees whose fruit also provides many health benefits such as, preventing cholesterol and diabetes.

Kebon Sirih Urban Village Puskesmas Head Nany Khairany said the fig tree is chosen to give an example to the puskesmas visitors how to cultivate family medicinal plants (Toga).

"Actually it has been conducted since one year ago," she expressed, Thursday (10/17).

Even she also plans to develop citronella cultivation which is also rich in health benefits.

"We'll optimally use this puskesmas' limited land to make it greener and gives benefits," she stressed.
