Signposts for 43 Tax Arrears in Cakung Installed

The 25 joint personnel participated in a morning ceremony in the framework of installing signposts for taxpayers who have yet to pay taxes on the yard of the Cakung Sub-district Tax and Levy Service Unit Office, East Jakarta, on Monday (10/21).

Those personnel are from sub-district, urban village, UPPRD, tax and levy sub-agency, as well as national army.

"Our hope is this signpost installation can give a deterrent effect for tax arrears," expressed Cakung Sub-district Head, Ahmad Salahudin who leads the ceremony.

Signposts Installed on Four Tax Objects in Cilincing Due to PBB-P2 Tax Arrears

It is a routine activity that is done every year as one form of forced effort in tax collection. It is carried out in stages over the next five days.

Cakung Sub-district UPPRD Head Suyono added total number of tax arrears is 43 taxpayers with the potential tax value by Rp 8.2 billion.

"We do this, as it's due on September 16, yet there has been no response," he said.
