15 Entrepreneurs on Tidung Island Educated to Make Handicrafts

It is prioritized for the development of the creative economy on Tidung Island

As many as 15 entrepreneurs in Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands were educated to make handicrafts made from marine waste at Tidung Ceria RPTRA held by the Technical Work Unit (UKT).

Thousand Islands UKT 2 Head Sofyan said that the training acted to encourage competence and development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) on Tidung Island thus the citizens' economy would improve.

40 Residents of Kebon Jeruk Participate in Handicraft Training

"It is prioritized for the development of the creative economy on Tidung Island," he expressed, Tuesday (10/22).

The type of training provided was making souvenirs such as bracelets, necklaces, key chains, tissue box, flower vase, etc.

"Hopefully Tidung Island will have unique souvenirs," he stated.
