PT. Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) announced 900 Jak Lingko drivers for medium and big bus categories in self-management unit have passed the certification test.

PT. Transjakarta President Director, Agung Wicaksono stated, this certification is given in order to improve their skill in driving passenger vehicles.

Thousand PPSU Personnel in West Jakarta Participated in Construction Certification ProgramIn order to get national standard certification issued by National Professional Certification Board (BNSP), he added, drivers should have driving license (SIM) and have experience of carrying passenger bus for at least three years, then taking tutoring and retake the exam.
"Our target, 100 percent drivers in Transjakarta to have national standard certifications. Currently we already achieve 80 percent of total drivers. Later we will continue to monitor number of driver that need to be certified both from self-management and operator units," he stated.
According to him, certification is important to improve safety and comfort for passengers along with the increasing number of passengers and Transjakarta's fleets.
"We are committed to give briefing on an ongoing basis to all staffs who serve public," he asserted.
