Transmigration Agency Proposes 414 Activities for 2020

The Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD)'s Commission B, held a meeting about the 2020 budget priorities and preliminary threshold (KUA-PPAS) related with the Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Agency with 414 activities, on Tuesday (10/29).

They have proposed Rp 182 billion

Jakarta DPRD's Commission B Secretary Pandapotan Sinaga said that this proposal was still being evaluated and needs to be re-explored.

"They have proposed Rp 182 billion," he expressed, at Jakarta Council Building, Jalan Kebon Sirih, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

Commission C Expects Executives to Optimize Regional Revenue

He furthered that the deepening discussion would be resumed on Wednesday (10/20).

"We still want to see the maximum budgeting process and the proposed activity design," he explained.

Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Agency Head Andri Yansyah expressed that the initial proposed budget was Rp 280 billion and continued with efficiency to Rp 182 billion for the 414 activities.

He went to say that efficiency made was one of them related to the development of Central Jakarta Regional Training Centers (PPKD), because of the difficulty of getting a replacement location during the development process.

"Actually we already have the location, yet the budgeting system cannot be impromptu. We can't make payments directly, and finally the place has been rented by another party," he told.

Nevertheless he would continue to optimize employment or entrepreneurship training activities.

"Next year we'll increase training activities, which are far more than this year," he told.

From the proposal from the number of activities and the budget, still have the potential to increase or decrease.

"Surely we need input from the commission as our partnership," he stated.
