Post-demolishment of houses on the banks of Mookevart River, RT 04/RW 02, Rawa Buaya Urban Village, Cengkareng Sub-District, West Jakarta, Wednesday (9/10) yesterday, the inspection road construction in such region can already begin.  

Coordinator of Jakarta River and Dam, Heryanto disclosed the project will be carried out in four stages and is targeted to be done at the end of this year. In details, the first stage is planned to be done in a month, where its construction started from Cengkareng Drain River Sluice Gate until Pasar Sentra Rawa Buaya, including citizen residential at RW 02.

The inspection road will be carried out in Jalan Daan Mogot, Cengkareng, untl border of Tangerang City is Batu Ceper. According to him, its construction is made as an alternative way of citizens to prevent traffic congestion on Jalan Daan Mogot. "The road inspection will be used as an alternative way to parse congestion on Jalan Daan Mogot," he added.

Head of Cengkareng Sub-District, Ali Maulana Hakim added inspection road construction is a follow-up of the Governor Instruction on inspection road that should be available throughout rivers and dams. It is done to maintain the rivers and dams in Jakarta. "The river should have inspection roads in order to add access road for locals to Jalan Daan Mogot, and improve people's economy," he stated.
