Besok Transjakarta Berlakukan Wayfinding

Wayfinding System will Be Tested at Transjakarta Corridor 1 Tomorrow

Transjakarta plans to test wayfinding system at Corridor 1 of Blok M - Kota route on Wednesday (11/6).

Customers can get their own experiences in exploring Jakarta

PT. Transjakarta President Director, Agung Wicaksono explained, this system is applied to improve service quality to the customers.

With this system, his side will add more wayfindings with clearer information on the bus such as route map and buildings near the bus shelter. Thus in the future, there will be no conductor on the bus.

Transjakarta Corridor 5 Route Shortened Temporarily

"Customers can get their own experiences in exploring Jakarta by reading the wayfinding signs installed on the bus," he explained, Tuesday (11/5).

Recently, his side tries to form a new culture in riding mass transport independently while increasing awareness of fellow Transjakarta passengers.

"Slowly, we are heading to Service 4.0. We facilitate the passengers to find out and know their own trips. Thus it is no longer principle of 'If you are shy of asking questions, you will get lost in your way' but 'No need to asking, just read the road map'," he said.

In this trial, his side will evaluate things needed and problems that will likely to occur in order to prepare the mitigation action.

"We have coordinated and discussed with related institutions such as Transportation Department, ITDP, and Indonesian Consumers Protection Foundation (YLKI) about this trial," he stated.
