Citra Permata RPTRA Has Rare Plants

A number of rare plants have decorated the Citra Permata Rawa Bunga RPTRA, Jatinegara, East Jakarta.

This tree and other species are rarely found in Jakarta

Rawa Bunga Urban Village Head Agustina said those rare plants from the Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Department and private party were planted last year.

"We do this to maintain its existence is not extinct and remains sustainable," he expressed, Monday (11/11).

Species of rare plants planted are harp, namnam, cempedak, jamblang, petai, jengkol, buni, mundu, srikaya, breadfruit and bacang. There are also trees species gowok, duku Condet, menteng and cashew nuts.

"Especially the Namnam trees have rough skin spots and have yellow fruits when ripe. This tree and other species are rarely found in Jakarta," she closed.
