Dishub Applies Traffic Engineering in Lenteng Agung Due to Overpass Construction

Jakarta Transportation Department (Dishub) applies traffic engineering on part of Jalan Lenteng Agung due to overpass intersection construction.

Traffic engineering will be applied until overpass intersection construction is completed

Jakarta Dishub Head, Syafrin Liputo mentioned, because of overpass intersection construction, his side closes the existing south-to-south U-turn and north-to-north U-turn from November 16 at 12 PM.

"Traffic engineering will be applied until overpass intersection construction is completed," he explained, Saturday (11/16).

Next Year, Bina Marga Department Plans to Build Three Flyovers

In this traffic engineering, vehicles from north and east side that will take a U-turn to north or Pasar Minggu will be diverted to use U-turn after Pancasila University.

Then, vehicles from south or Depok that will take a U-turn to north or Depok can go through:

1. Jalan Lenteng Agung - Jalan Pasar Minggu - then take a U-turn at Poltangan that leads to Depok

2. Jalan Lenteng Agung - Jalan Jagakarsa - Jalan Kebagusan - Jalan TB Simatupang - take a U-turn at Ranco - Jalan TB Simatupang - Jalan Lenteng Agung - Depok

3. Jalan Lenteng Agung - Jalan TB Simatupang - take a U-turn at Pertanian traffic light - return to Jalan TB Simatupang - take a U-turn at Ranco - Jalan TB Simatupang - Jalan Lenteng Agung - Depok

"We remind road users to follow the traffic engineering, obey the traffic signs, and instruction from the officers on the field, especially to prioritize safety on the road," he asserted.

For information, this Bina Marga's overpass intersection construction project is targeted to complete on December 30, 2020.
