East Jakarta SDA Cleans Up Alu-Alu PHB Channel

Alu-Alu Pulogadung Connecting (PHB) Channel cleaned by East Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-department Unit.

We need to clean it to prevent inundation and flood in the area

East Jakarta SDA Sub-department Head, Santo explained, his side deployed 240 SDA personnel and PPSU personnel to clean up channel as long as two kilometers.

"We need to clean it to prevent inundation and flood in the area," he asserted, Tuesday (11/26).

Channels Along Jl. Lenteng Agung Timur Cleaned

According to him, this cleaning is carried out from Bujana Tirta Reservoir at Pisangan Timur Urban Village up to Sunter River intersection at Jati Urban Village. This PHB Channel is located on the border of four urban villages namely Pisangan Timur, Rawamangun, Cipinang, and Jati Urban Villages.

"In order to accelerate channel dredging, we use one excavator and 10 trucks to transport the mud," he conveyed.
