DPRD Holds Banggar Meeting to Review KUA-PPAS

Jakarta Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) held Budget Agency (Banggar) Meeting to review the budget priorities and preliminary threshold (KUA-PPAS) together with executive at Plenary Meeting Room, Jakarta DPRD Building, Jalan Kebon Sirih, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

It needs further explanation from the executives

This meeting was led by Jakarta DPRD Chairman, Prasetio Edi Marsudi and accompanied by Jakarta DPRD Deputy Chairperson of Abdurrahman Suhaimi and Zita Anjani. It also attended by legislators, Regional Government Budget Team (TAPD) Head, Saefullah, and Heads of Regional Apparatus Work Units (SKPD)s.

KUA-PPAS Reviews in Commission B Finally Completed

Jakarta Deputy Chairperson, Abdurrahman Suhaimi expected Regional Tax and Levy Agency (BPRD) to be more consistent in determining the estimated value of locally-generated revenue (PAD) from tax sector.

"From draft that we received, there is revision in the projection value. At first, hotel tax is RP 2 trillion then it is revised into Rp 1.9 trillion, entertainment tax is Rp 1.2 trillion then revised into Rp 1.1 trillion, parking tax from Rp 1.350 trillion into Rp 1.1 trillion, and PBB-P2 tax from Rp 11 trillion into Rp 8 trillion," he conveyed, Tuesday (11/26).

Thus he asked BPRD to be more careful and accurate in determining estimated PAD value from tax sector.

"Indeed, the time is short, but BPRD should be smart and accurate in compiling this projection," he asserted.

He continued, the Remaining Budget (Silpa) was targeted to reach Rp 3 trillion on October 23. But, when entering Banggar meeting, it increases into Rp 5 trillion.

"It needs further explanation from the executives. Banggar Meeting is a place to discuss and find the best solution for these issues because legislature and executive are partners," he mentioned.
